2020 Bourbon Barrel Sangiovese

The story of each wine is a journey from the heart of the vineyard through carefully selected oak wine barrels and ultimately the tables of our friends and families. Our Bourbon Barrel series travels beyond this tradition, surrounding our most outstanding wines with Jimmy's Texas Bourbon heavily charred American oak barrels. Recycling those barrels has given us the chance to create a limited series of estate-grown wines charting a more masculine, smooth, and subtly sweet path.

This Sangiovese is a comforting expression of strong baking spice, vanilla, and a hint of butterscotch. The palate is quite clean with notes of strawberry and red cherry finished with finesse.

One-of-a-kind. This is the only vintage of Bourbon Barrel Sangio to date!
